Steven Sarshik has thirty years of experience handling complex commercial litigation in New York State and Federal Courts. He consistently displays determination and resolve to assure that his clients are able to obtain a just and expeditious resolution of their legal problems.

Steven Sarshik has tried over one hundred cases is state and federal court, many involving complex factual and legal questions. He has substantial experience in commercial arbitration in cases involving real estate, contract disputes, sales agreements, corporate governance, fraud claims, and real estate brokerage commissions.

He is also an excellent appellate advocate, having prepared and argued over thirty appeals in New York, many involving unique and ground breaking legal issues. He argued before the New York Court of Appeals, the highest court in the state, in a case which established the rules for bringing a claim involving the loss of business income. In these cases, Steven Sarshik is able to utilize his extensive background as a commercial litigator and his experience as a writer.

Steven Sarshik graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BA Degree, and from New York University School of Law with a JD Degree. After completing his legal education, he clerked for a United States District Court Judge. He has worked and still continues to work on legal matters with attorneys at the finest law firms in New York.

As a litigator, Steven Sarshik has successfully brought cases against The City of New York, Citibank, Keyspan, Amerada-Hess, Macy’s, Madison Square Garden, Helmsley-Spear, Sotheby’s, Pace University, Pfizer, Inc., and Vanguard Records.
